Marketing Strategies that Work
I’ve heard many people say that 90% of all marketing fails which invokes my response of “how do you know?” Did you measure the results of your marketing efforts? Let’s take a look at the data and find out where it failed. I believe that 90% of marketing fails because people are lazy and won’t do the work of tracking their results.

It’s The Small Things that Matter in Marketing
Have you ever planned a marketing piece that failed miserably? Why did it fail? Have you ever ran a marketing piece that you didn’t keep detailed statistics of the piece? How many leads did it generate? How many sales and how many dollars did it generate? How many times do your new found customers come back and buy from you again and again? How many referrals do those customers give you and how many of them become customers. How much do the referrals produce, etc.? This is where your “Great Ideas” are born.
The second part of the success formula is the “Do.” These are the actions you Read the rest of this entry »
What’s Your Why?
In Business, your “WHY” is the most critical factor in the success of your business. Why do you get up in the morning and go to your business? What were your hopes and dreams when you started or bought your business? Are you living that dream? if not, why not? When was the last time you enjoyed owning your business?
One of my trainers, Earl Kemper, once told me that “Business is the tool we use to provide us the life we choose, it is not life.“ It took me a long time to fully understand this statement because I had not clarified my Why. To clarify your why, ask yourself these questions: Read the rest of this entry »

So what is the problem? Why do some businesses succeed at finding the best people and others struggle?
